Concept
When coming up with the concept for this bag, I looked into the techwear style of fashion and took inspiration from that fashion style to design this bag

Pattern
When drafting the patterns for the bag, I sketched a rough draft of the pattern on paper and used Illustrator as a tool to create a more accurate pattern
A lot of the pattern drafting was done by eye when determining the scale of the bag relative to the size of the body. I also measured the perimeter of the front main panel to calculate the length measurement of the side panels.
Since I hadn’t drafted a pattern prior to this, I focused on the overall pattern of the bag first. I then added the details and pockets as I constructed the bag.

Fabrication
When sewing the tactical bag together, the order of operations was crucial. Ensuring that the front pocket on the back bag was sewn before assembling the entire bag was key to its creation. This thoughtful approach was applied throughout the entire sewing process.

Features
Highlighting some of the features of the tactical bag: The front bag features a zippered pocket, with stretch mesh pockets inside the main compartment. Additionally, the smaller front bag includes two stretch mesh pockets. The main pouch of the front bag has a full-length zippered pocket, along with a Velcro pocket at the front. On the back bag, there’s a main flip-open pocket with a buckle closure, and a button closure pocket on the front of the back panel. All bags are fully lined for added durability and structure.
